Dining
Royal Indian Masala and the Italian kitchen
Two chefs, two traditions, and one table that brings them together.
Two chefs cook at Ubud Raya, and they do not cook the same food. An Indian chef runs Royal Indian Masala. An Italian chef runs the Continental and international menu. Stay a week and you never eat the same dinner twice.

Royal Indian Masala
Authentic Indian cooking and proper Masala Chai, from our Indian chef.
Royal Indian Masala is our in-house Indian restaurant. The kitchen is run by a dedicated Indian chef, and the menu reads like home for anyone who grew up with it: butter chicken, karahi dishes, paneer cooked five different ways, dal tadka, biryani and breads straight from the heat.
The Indian specials change with the month, so ask what is on the board when you arrive.

Breakfast, both ways
Every morning the buffet brings both kitchens together: authentic Indian dishes and Masala Chai from our Indian chef, with Continental and international choices from our Italian chef.
Masala Chai or a cappuccino, paratha or a croissant: nobody at the table has to compromise.
